According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention 19.2 million adults were diagnosed and 5.2 million kids reported hay fever from Seasonal Allergies.

The American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology state that seasonal allergies develop when the body’s immune system becomes sensitized and overreacts to something in the environment that typically causes no problem in most people. Seasonal allergies is considered to begin in the Spring although tree, grass, and plant pollination occur throughout the year, causing some to have symptoms all year long. Researchers have found that an impaired immune system substantially increases the risk of allergic reactions.

Dr. Gableman, a practitioner of environmental medicine says that

“this occurs when the immune system becomes stressed due to an overload of toxins.”

There are plenty of over-the-counter medications that are recommended by doctors for allergy relief, but there are other homeopathic treatment options like:

  • using essential oils
  • taking Vitamin C
  • drinking Apple Cider Vinegar with a spoonful of local honey.
